1. Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM)

What do you learn?

Basic Nursing Skills: Under this course, the girls will become well-equipped with the essential nursing techniques comprising of wound care, infection control, and maintaining patient hygiene. 

Midwifery: Midwifery section of this course includes areas like prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care. It also focuses on assistance in childbirth and support to women during their pregnancy. 

Community Health: This subject has its main focus on health education, immunity programs, and management of health issues that are commonly prevalent in specific community. 

Anatomy and Physiology: Students get a basic understanding of human anatomy and phyiosology in this course, so that they can provide better care to the patients. 

Nutrition: You become familiar with the fundamentals of nutrition and diet planning for different age groups and under different health conditions.

Career Opportunities:

Upon completion of this course, graduates have wide range of gates open for them in the market.

Some of the work opportunities are available at hospitals clinics, community health centres, and NGO’s where you can provide special support and care in maternal and child health services. 

2. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

At Gopinathji Mahila College And Nursing , the General Nursing and Midwifery program offers a comprehensive training to in nursing and midwifery. This prepares students in a way that they can adapt in broad range of healthcare environments.

What do you learn?

Advanced Nursing Strategies: As a part of this course, students acquire proficiency in specialized areas of medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, etc. 

Midwifery and Obstetrical Nursing: This course offers in-depth training in the aspect of maternal and newborn care, including experience in support to mothers and newborns during both routine and complex delivery cases. 

Community Health Nursing: Here, students implement effective strategies for enhancement and management of community health. Under this, they learn health policies and preventive care measures, to promotes overall wellbeing. 

Pharmacology: As the name suggests, this part of the course is all about the medications, their utility, and techniques of administration. 

First Aid and Emergency Care: You acquire hands-on experience in handling emergency situations and providing immediate care.

3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing)

The B.Sc Nursing program is tailored for those who seek advanced in-depth knowledge and skills in the profession of nursing. This integrates opportunities for research and leadership in the healthcare domain.
